Cindy was the youngest daughter born to Kathryn (Palmer) and Charles Chrs on March 8, 1953. She graduated from Glenville Excessive Faculty in 1971 and continued her schooling at Albert Lea Tech.
In February of 1980, Cindy wed her (former) husband, Michael Stieren, initially from Benson, MN.
