‘A part of My Coronary heart Has Flown Away’ – Rolling Stone


“I’ll miss all the things about you Christine McVie. Recollections abound… they fly to me,” Fleetwood writes following the loss of life of his bandmate

Mick Fleetwood paid tribute to Christine McVie on social media Wednesday after the loss of life of his Fleetwood Mac bandmate on the age of 79. 

“A part of my coronary heart has flown away at present,” the drummer wrote on Instagram. “It is a day the place my pricey candy Buddy Christine McVie has taken to flight… and left us earthbound people to pay attention with bated breath to the sounds of that ‘music hen,’ reminding every one that love is throughout us to succeed in for and contact on this valuable life that’s gifted to us.”

McVie died “peacefully” at a hospital Wednesday morning following a “brief sickness,” her household confirmed.

Fleetwood Mac mentioned in an announcement, “There aren’t any phrases to explain our unhappiness on the passing of Christine McVie. She was really one-of-a-kind, particular and proficient past measure. She was the very best musician anybody may have of their band and the very best buddy anybody may have of their life. We have been so fortunate to have a life along with her. Individually and collectively, we cherished Christine deeply and are grateful for the wonderful reminiscences now we have. She will likely be so very missed.”
