Don Phillip Holden, a.okay.a. Dr. Don, 90 of Johnson Metropolis, TN died November 6, 2022 on the Lakebridge Nursing Dwelling underneath the care of Hospice, in Johnson Metropolis, TN.

Don was born in Charleston, WV. He moved to Charles City, WV in 1946 and graduated Charles City Excessive College in 1950. He acquired his bachelor diploma in Enterprise Administration from West Virginia College, his Grasp Diploma, Grasp of Aerospace Operations Administration, from College of Southern California and his Doctorate Diploma (Ph. D.) in Enterprise (Finance), from College of Nebraska.

He married Catherine Louise Worth (Bunny) of Charles City, WV in 1953 in Anchorage, Territory of Alaska. They’ve one youngster, Karen Holdren. Don and Bunny loved 69 years married in an exquisite, God blessed, and loving relationship as man and spouse and as greatest mates.

Don joined the U.S. Air Drive in 1950 and spent 23 years on lively responsibility. Collectively He and Bunny traveled all around the Far East, Alaska, Hawaii and Europe as a navy household.

Don is survived by his loving spouse and daughter, Karen.

He’s a 32^nd diploma Mason and a member of the Scottish Ceremony and the Temple of Shriners in Omaha, Nebraska. He’s a lifetime member of the Nationwide Rifle Affiliation. He accomplished and earned Diamonds (1991), Diamonds Grading (1992) and Coloured Stones (1993) certificates from the Gemological Institute of America.

After a profession within the U.S. Air Drive his profession path modified a number of instances. Surviving Don are his spouse since March 15, 1953, Catherine “Bunny” Worth Holdren; daughter, Karen Louise Holdren; brother, Dr. Rev. W. Ray Holdren, of Lexington, KY; sister, Margaret Ouinto of Florida , sisters-in-law, Patricia Worth and Betty Worth Brown each of Winchester, VA; sister-in-law, Jean Holdren, of Charlottesville, VA ; sister-in-law, Carol Holdren, of Florida; many shut mates from the CHS class of 1950 and plenty of loving nephews and nieces.

Buddies will probably be acquired 1 to 2 p.m. Monday on the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Dwelling, 310 S. Fairfax Blvd., Ranson, WV

 There will probably be a Full Army Honors Funeral.

Graveside Service will probably be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2022 on the Edge Hill Cemetery, 604 Hunter St., Charles City, WV.
