The Geneva-based Watch & Jewelry Initiative 2030 (WJI 2030), based in October 2021 as “a motion for optimistic change within the business,” has been graced with a brand new member – the GIA (Gemological Institute of America).

In line with the group, quoted by IDEX On-line, the transfer is “an extension of its dedication to a extra sustainable future for the world, our business and for the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).”

WJI 2030, established by Cartier and Kering, “focuses on constructing local weather resilience, preserving assets and fostering inclusiveness,” and believes the UN Sustainable Improvement Objectives (SDGs) “can solely be achieved by way of collaborative initiatives.”
