KABUL (Pajhwok): A person carrying treasured stones price $115,000 has been arrested by safety forces in Kabul, the Ministry of Inside stated on Friday.
The person was arrested within the sixth safety district of Kabul metropolis for smuggling 10.5 kilograms of treasured stones, MoI Division of Combating Corruption and Severe Crimes stated in an announcement.
The detainee, a resident of Daikundi province, was arrested in Haji Nabi city. He wished to promote the valuable stones to somebody for 115,000 US {dollars}.
The arrested individual had introduced the stones from Takhar province to Kabul and was underneath the surveillance of detectives for a very long time, the assertion concluded.
